Laguna de Fraijanes

The road leading to the park is completely paved and in excellent shape. Along the trip, you'll be able to see the area's burgeoning coffee industry, with plenty of acreage dedicated to the cultivation of this valuable and appreciated fruit; be sure to bring your camera. There is a tiny forest of pine trees that you must visit; the vast height of these trees is amazing, and you must also watch how the light shines through their leaves; you must take a photograph here.Throughout the tours there are benches where you can sit and enjoy nature, the sound of birds, relax and renew energies. The trek through the forest and lagoon may be completed in under an hour, with exceedingly smooth trails and no difficulty.

The park has a soccer field, basketball court, volleyball court, ranches, ecological zones, a lake that is the primary attraction, green spaces with thick trees, picnic spots, children's games, an amphitheater, and a multipurpose room, as well as 5 cottages meant to spend the night in the park.

Costa Rica is known for its volcanoes, but few people realize that the action of these massive calderas has also resulted in the formation of a wide range of reliefs, including the lagoons. The Laguna de Hule is one among them, and it's a great place to go for a day of relaxation and natural immersion.

This natural wonder may be found in the canton of Río Cuarto, in the province of Alajuela, approximately 11 kilometers from the Poás Volcano, 8 kilometers from Cariblanco, and 61 kilometers from San José.

Hule is the largest of three lagoons at the base of the Congo Volcano; it's construction is thought to have occurred about 6,200 years ago, following a volcanic event that collapsed the volcano's crater.
